Maker Relations Lead

8 to 10 hours a week · Pune preferred

The role

Makers are not suppliers to us. They are the reason Wibhoo exists.

Most of them are one or two people running a small workshop. Some work with tribal women, some with farmers, some with artisans. When an order comes through Wibhoo, it lands somewhere that counted on it.

This role is the person who holds those relationships and makes sure the orders actually arrive. It is the least glamorous job on our list and probably the most important one.

What you would own

  • Maker relationships. Regular contact with our brands. Knowing what each one needs from us. Being the person they call when something goes wrong.
  • Order coordination. When an order comes in, the maker knows, it ships, and the customer gets it. Track dispatch, chase delays, close the loop.
  • Customer support. Queries on WhatsApp and email, returns, complaints, the occasional annoyed message. Under 24 hours.
  • Catalogue health. Stock, prices, new products, discontinued items. Chasing makers for photos and descriptions.
  • Maker content. Collecting stories, photos and updates for our Storyteller. Good content only exists if someone asks for it.

Your time8 to 10 hours a week

This role needs you reachable on weekdays. Not every hour, but a maker calling about a stuck order cannot wait until Sunday. If you can only work in weekend blocks, one of our other roles would suit you better.

On the gifting side

Wibhoo also sells curated gift kits to companies, built from the same makers. During an active gifting order we may ask you to help confirm stock or chase a delivery.

Occasional, not your main job, and we will ask rather than assume. Gifting is run by Rohan and Pooja. Your role and your share sit with the consumer marketplace.

Who this suits

You are organised. You track things, follow up without being reminded, and nothing falls through.

You are good with people. Our makers are busy, stressed and doing everything themselves. Patience, warmth, and occasionally firmness.

You are comfortable on the phone. Most of this is WhatsApp and calls in Marathi, Hindi or English. Not email.

You care about small businesses. Not sustainability as an aesthetic, but the actual economics of a workshop getting a reliable order.

The offer

Revenue share of 10 to 15 percent of Wibhoo's commission on consumer sales, paid quarterly, starting after your 30 day trial. ESOP conversation at twelve months. Full terms on the main page.

Your work moves this number directly. More engaged makers means more products, better listings and fewer failed orders.

If this sounds like you

Tell us three things:

  • A time you kept something running when other people had dropped it
  • How many hours a week you genuinely have, and which hours
  • What you would say to a maker who has not sold anything on Wibhoo in six months

Send it to rohan@wibhoo.in with "Maker Relations" in the subject. The three answers matter more than a CV.
