The role

Wibhoo runs on WordPress, WooCommerce and Dokan. The platform is built, live and working.

What it does not have is one person who owns it. Someone who looks at it every week, decides what matters, and improves it.

That is the role.

The stack

Working

Product listings, vendor onboarding and dashboards, checkout and payments, order flow, vendor-side order management.

Open for improvement

The vendor dashboard, shipping aggregator integration, the structure of our sustainability framework fields, site speed, and the experiences and services segments.

Handover

The platform was built by an external developer who remains available on paid engagement for large features. Day to day ownership would be yours, and we will make the handover clean.

What you would own

The platform, fully. We do not want to brief you on what to build.

We want someone who looks at the marketplace, sees what matters, and decides.

• Keeping it fast, stable and secure. Updates, backups, plugin hygiene.
• Fixing what breaks, and deciding what is worth fixing
• The vendor experience, which is the hardest part of any marketplace
• The buyer journey through to checkout
• Structuring the sustainability framework fields properly, since verification is the core of our product
• Deciding what gets built next, and telling us why

We are not asking you to rebuild anything. The platform exists and works. This is stewardship and steady improvement, not a greenfield project.

What done looks like

The offer

This role is weighted differently from our others, because it is the one we most need to get right.

Equity on the table at six months

Not twelve, as with our other roles. If you are still delivering at six months, we open the ESOP conversation. One year cliff, four year vest.

We would rather give real ownership to one person who runs our platform than spread small amounts thinly.

Revenue share of 15 percent

Of Wibhoo's commission on consumer sales, the top of our band, paid quarterly from day 31. Full terms on the main page.

Platform work moves that number directly. Faster site, better discovery, smoother checkout, all of it is sales.

And the part that is not money

Complete technical autonomy, a live marketplace with real vendors and real orders rather than a side project, and a direct line to the founder with no layers in between.

Who this suits

You know this stack properly. WordPress and WooCommerce in depth, Dokan or a comparable multi-vendor system, PHP, comfortable in a theme or a plugin.

You have shipped a marketplace before, or something close. Multi-vendor is different from single-store ecommerce and you know how.

You decide rather than wait. The most important thing here. We do not have anyone to write you tickets.

You are reachable when something breaks. Not always on, but if checkout goes down on a Saturday we need to reach you.

Worth saying plainly

You would be working on a codebase someone else wrote, with a small budget and a founder who is not technical. Some of what you find will annoy you.

What we can offer is autonomy, honesty about where things stand, and nobody telling you how to do your job.
